Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB Exam:

The eligibility criteria for the IBPS RRB Exam can be summed up as follows:

• Nationality: The candidate appearing for the IBPS PO exam can be a individual belonging to one of the following categories:
  The applicant must be an Indian citizen  

1. He or she should be a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who is settled in India
2. He or she can be a migrated individual from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, The Untied Republic of Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zaire, Zambia, Malawi, and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India.
3. Age Bracket: The age bracket which is eligible for applying for different roles under the IBPS RRB exam are listed below:

1. Scale I Officer: 18 years to 30 years
2. Scale II Officer: 21 years to 30 years
3. Scale III Officer: 21 years to 40 years
4. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 years to 28 years

In this case, it should be noted that there is an age relaxation which is applicable to the candidates who belong to the reserved categories in India. Candidates belonging to the OBC category are eligible for an age relaxation of 3 years. The candidates who belong to the SC and ST category will be eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years.

IBPS RRB Application Fee:

Candidates' application costs for IBPS RRB are variable depending on their reservation category.  The application fee for the IBPS RRB 2026 exams are as follows:

1. For candidates belonging to the general, EWS, and OBC categories, the application fee is Rs.850 

1. For candidates belonging to the SC and ST category, ex-servicemen, and those with disabilities, the application fee is Rs.175 

IBPS RRB Mode of Payment:

The payment for the IBPS RRB exam application can be made online. There is no offline process for filling up the form or making the payment. An individual can use one of the following methods to make the payment for the IBPS RRB exam:

• Credit cards
• Debit cards – Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, and Maestro
• Cash cards
• Mobile wallets
• Internet banking
• IMPS (Immediate Payment Service)

Documents required for IBPS RRB Exam Registration:

The following documents should be kept handy at the time of filling up the online registration form for IBPS RRB 2025 exam:

• An active mobile number
• An active email ID
• Current correspondence address
• Scanned copy of the applicant’s signature
• Scanned copy of the applicant’s left thumb impression
• Scanned copy of a handwritten declaration by the candidate

IBPS RRB 2026 Registration Process:

The IBPS RRB exam registration process consists of five main steps. The steps can be summarised as follows:

• Registration and enrolment: This step will require you to go to the IBPS official website, www.ibps.in. Go to the 'Click here for New Registration' option after clicking the 'Apply Online for CRP RRBs – VIII' link. After that, you must click on the position for which you wish to apply and fill out all of the required information. To finish the registration procedure, double-check your information and click the 'Save and Next' option.
• Uploading the documents: This stage will require you to upload all of the relevant documents that were listed on the portal previously. Scanned photos of the required papers must be submitted into the corresponding fields on the webpage.
• Filling up the application form: You will be asked to provide information such as your name, date of birth, mobile phone number, and email address. You'll also need to upload your photo and signature, as well as your exam centre selections and the security code listed on the form. To proceed, fill out the IBPS RRB exam application form with all of the required information and click the 'Submit' option.
• Payment of application fee: As previously stated, you can pay for your IBPS RRB application using one of the six payment methods. You will be taken to the payment page after submitting your application form. To make a payment, go to the payment gateway.
• Confirmation of registration: You will receive an e-receipt from the IBPS website once you have completed the payment. For future reference, you must keep a duplicate of the completed form that is presented on the screen.
